Russian Championship 1992, the Second League

The first Russian Championship was very hard for FC Saturn. The team had a money problem. Saturn couldn't take part in the Championship. But thanks to some organizations Saturn was able to find an escape. The squad was renewed. V. Radyshev (Agtala Moscow), V. Babushkin (Dinamo-2), O. Kozhokhin (Torpedo), D. Karaulov (Oka), V. Zaitsev and E. Letin (both - FC Pele), A. Gashkin (Khitrie lisy), V. Vetrov (Dinamo Vologda), O, Motorin (Mashuk Pyatigorsk), V. Zuikin (Meteor Zhukovskiy), S. Muravlev left our club. A. Borisenkov became a coach in FC Orekhovo-Zuevo and S. Tryapkin became the Saturn Head Kit Manager.

New players came in Saturn: V. Titiv (Makkabi Moscow), I. Matveev (returned from Vologda), S. Zubritskiy and Y. Georgievskiy (both - Rodina Khimki), S. Andrushin and A. Udanov (both - Meteor), S. Kophtanuk (CSKA-2), A. Volodin (Torpedo), V. Bobrov, A. Levochkin (Torgmash), T. Vdovin (Prometei), A. Drozdov and Y. Arbuzov (both - Iskra). The squad changed during the season: V. Titov (Mosenergo), I. Matveev (Meteor), A. Volodin (Titan), Y. Arbuzov (returned to Iskra) and Kophtanuk, who was drafted in army.
